LIGHT

At this time of year as we approach the winter solstice, we hear a lot of talk about light and we see that light celebrated by the lights of Hanukah and Christmas.

What do all seekers of enlightenment do to find illumination? We look within. Within each of us is something better that an LED, a light emitting diode. We have our own LED, Light Entirely Divine!

Light that is entirely divine will lead us to our highest and best, regardless of what religion we choose to practice…or if we practice no organized religion at all.

In these short daylight hours of winter, switch on your inner light. Turn on that inner light by following what is divinely, not dogmatically, provided for you by your intuition. Trust your intuition…it comes from Spirit…your own LED: Light Entirely Divine!

Live in such a way that you would not be ashamed to sell your parrot
to the town gossip.

- Will Rogers

Strength of character...the ability to live a principled life even
when no one can see or hear us. This reminds me of one of the sayings I remember hearing
as a child, from my mother's Southern family, "A lady eats her
pie on a plate and with a fork, even when she's alone."

Well, I may not qualify as a Southern lady but I can still live my life with principles and integrity, even when I am alone.

Often when we talk about someone's character, we use the imagery of jewels.
We say, "a real gem...a pearl...a diamond in the rough." Using that
language implies that these people, like gemstones, are rare,
 beautiful, and valuable.

Character traits such as honesty, loyalty, courage, humor, and the
capacity for love and compassion are valuable indeed.

Everyone can
 have them...and imitations won't do.

I'm usually the first one up at my house...coffee in the dining room this time of year...watching out the patio door. Sunshine, wisteria blooming on the arbor and robins bouncing around in the yard.
Mostly there appears to be no pattern to their movements...flitting around here and there. One morning though I watched one robin for maybe 5 minutes. While the others zoomed from branch to branch or took flight, my bird sat almost still on its branch, moving only its head to scan the scene very occasionally.
What could it be looking for or waiting for? How did it decide when to move and where?
After another long while, another robin dropped into position on a nearby branch. They simultaneously turned to each other, somehow communicated, and then took flight in perfectly synchronized timing and formation.
What just happened here? Well, here's what I believe happened!
My bird had a vision of an adventure in the Boston Mountains of Arkansas. It sat on the branch for a while to get the vision strong and clear in its mind. Because the Law of Attraction works even for robins, it knew that every resource needed for the vision was happening in the invisible and, with patience, would soon appear.
Then bird 2 showed up...the partner in the adventure. They made quick plans and were off. Vision fulfilled!
So let me ask you...how do you decide where to perch, how long to stay there, and when & where to move? If you have a vision for your next adventure, take a lesson from my birds. Park yourself and be still. Get that vision strong and clear in your mind. Keep your focus on it even if everyone around you is in motion and you're not. Wait for the needed resources to show up and they will...ideas, money, opportunities, services, maybe even robins!
Blessings on your flight!
